Hey Y’all!

Welcome to TOTAL CONTROL! Total Control is not only the name of my blog, but also the name of my 2011 MASI Partenza road bike. This is where I make an attempt at recording my successes and failures in living with Type 2 Diabetes. My mission with this blog is to help and motivate myself and others with these struggles.

I invite you to participate. Sign up for an account, and comment on my posts.

The Lantus must be wearing off as my BG is rising despite not having eaten.

Kidney function test results

Well, the results of my kidney function test came in the mail today.
My MICROALBUMIN level is high. My endo’s note states that it is a reversable condition with better blood glucose control.
My level is 2.2. Normal range is 0-1.9mg/dl.
My albumin/creatinine level is 66. A value over 30 is problimatic.

I knew this would not be good. So, I have yet another reason to get back into TOTAL CONTROL!
